Friday – June 22, 2012
The day started at 6:00 am. We ate breakfast, loaded the bus and went to the dock to board a ferry. It was a very nice ship. Air conditioned and new. The 2 hour boat ride was about to start. Along the way we stopped at 2 islands.
We arrived in Mayreau about 11:00 am. After visiting the church and the home of Grace we were taken to our cabin. The cabin was rough. (4 walls and a roof). It does have a toilet but since you have to leave the doors and windows open for air its like sleeping outside.
Well it’s 1:00 pm and time to get to work. The ceraminc tiling begins.
Our day ended by going down to the bay to bathe. That’s right we cleaned up in the bay every evening in front of the million dollar yachts. But we weren’t alone. The Pastor would join us at times.
